An Evening of Art and Culture with Jonathan Banks – High Museum of Art

June 19, 2015 @ 7:15 pm - 10:00 pm

| $10

This month we will be taking an in-depth look at the photographic art of Gordon Parks. The High Museum exhibition, “Segregation Story,” features more than 40 color photographs of Parks’ work, many of them on display for the first time. The photos are documentary style pieces that depict the daily life and struggles of a multigenerational family living in segregated Alabama during the 1950’s.

Tickets are half price, only $10 per person. With a group of 10 or more the rate will drop to $8.25. Please contact me if you are interested in attending. There will be a cash bar, live music, and we will have access to the entire museum. I will be taking photos and posting the event on my blog as well.

My goal is to encourage an environment in which Atlanta art enthusiasts can engage with each other and develop a strong community connection. Come out and become a part of the conversation.

As you journey through life…Journey Brave.
